We received in campus a group of great poets from all around the world. It was a great experience. This is not the first time we do it, but this time it was really special.

Academic Honors Assembly!

We had the Academic Honors Assembly on Campus. Felix Maradiaga was the Guest Speaker and we had a historic award ceremony with a great amount of students on Dean's List and Provost List.

1st American Classic

 The 1st American Classic between AMULAC Knights and the US Embassy Soccer Team took place on campus. Score was 3-2 for the visiting team. It was a nice day that strengthened bonds between both institutions. We are the Only US University in the region!

Battle of the Champs!

AMULAC celebrated the Tae Kwon Do Intra-mural " Battle of the Champs".
Results were as follows>

1st place: Angel Sandoval - Honduras
2nd place: Martin Acosta - Honduras
3rd place: Carlos Gonzalez – Nicaragua

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE FIGHTERS THAT PARTICIPATED IN THE TOURNAMENT "BATTLE OF THE CHAMPS". (The first Internal Tournament of AMULAC). And also to all staff members and students that made this possible.

A Special Salute and our congratulations to the Tae Kwon Do team/club. Their effort has brought new glories to AMULAC. We salute you Champions!

Celebrating Liberal Arts in 2013!

We are celebrating Liberal Arts in 2013. We are promoting the IX International Poetry Festival in Granada and we are having some of these great poets on campus. Different activities promoting and celebrating Liberal Arts will be happening on campus.

AMLI Scholarships for our family!

Ave Maria awarded ten scholarships as part of the institution’s compensation program for their employees. Seven of our employees and three employees’ dependent will be able to learn English at our prestigious Language Institute. This will contribute to the personal and professional development of our staff and their families. Employees who received this award work at different departments of AMULAC such as Facilities, Student Life, AMLI, IT, and Cafeteria. 

Poets of the World at AMULAC!

On Feb. 22nd we will receive on campus some outstanding poets that will spend some time at Ave Maria giving us a demonstration of their work.

We Pray for our Pope!

Dear Ave Maria Family,

Join us at Noon Mass today to pray for our Dear Pope, Benedict 16^th, who has announced his resignation to the papacy effective February 28^th, due to health reasons. We will pray for him and for the Conclave to come, so that the Holy Spirit may guide the College of Bishops, in love and wisdom, to select a new Vicar of Christ.
